Date and place of birth: 18.07.1951, Yaroslavl.
When he was a child he studied at an art studio in the House of Pioneers under the guidance of Yu.P.Gartsev. Yu.P. Gartsev taught him to read books about the lives and talents of great Russian artists.
Education:
1969 – He studied in Yaroslavl School Of Art.
After graduation, he started to work as a teacher, but he continued to paint.
He was unable to forget those happy days when, as a young artist, he travelled around with his friends and painted. They discussed matters of art, read poems and sang songs together.
He was accepted into the Union of Russian Artists in 1998, and provided with an excellent workshop where he could work.
His works are characterized by the fullness of our inner world, harmony and, of course, mood. If his paintings were of village landscapes, the scenes would include beautiful susnsets, rainstorms and the coming of spring.
His paintings always capture the ever changing faces of nature.
His still-life paintings create a lyrical mood (armfuls of grass flowers, marble lilac dripping with dew, cherry trees, cold yet alive with the chirping of birdsong).
